Infant & Toddler Program

Ages: Birth to 3 Years

The earliest years of a child's life are among the most significant for brain development, and the Cuddle Bugs program is designed to honor that. We provide responsive, nurturing care grounded in three core beliefs about how infants and toddlers learn best.

The Cuddle Bugs program is a play and discovery curriculum for children from birth to three years old. It is developmentally appropriate, family-centered, and designed to celebrate every stage of early growth - from a newborn's first smile to a toddler's first words and steps.

Learning Through Relationships

Much of the cognitive, language, social, and physical development a child experiences in their earliest years happens through responsive interactions with caring, trusted adults. Our Cuddle Bugs caregivers are trained to build genuine trust and security with every child in their care, providing the relational foundation that all future learning is built on.

Learning Through Play

At PNLCA, play is not a break from learning - it is learning. Our infant and toddler program places play and imagination at the center of every day, helping children explore the physical world, develop social awareness, and begin to understand the relationships and roles around them.

Learning in Rich Environments

We are intentional about the environments our youngest learners spend their days in. Our Cuddle Bugs classrooms are designed to spark curiosity and encourage exploration at every stage, with age-appropriate materials, sensory experiences, and routines that provide both stimulation and security.

Preschool Program

Ages: 3 to 5 Years

The Jumpstart preschool program is where curiosity becomes a curriculum. Built around an integrated, research-based approach with a strong focus on Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM), Jumpstart is designed to prepare children not just for kindergarten, but for a lifetime of learning.

Our Jumpstart classrooms are active, engaging, and purposeful. Children learn through hands-on activities, weekly thematic units, and experiences that connect academic foundations to the world around them. Biblical principles are woven throughout - not as a separate subject, but as the thread that runs through everything we do.

The Jumpstart program covers:

Early literacy development through storytelling, phonics, and reading preparation

Early math foundations through interactive activities, sorting, matching, and counting

STEAM exploration through age-appropriate science, building, and technology experiences

Arts and creative expression through music, movement, and arts and crafts

Social studies and an introduction to the wider world

After School Program

Ages: 3 to 12 Years

The school day may end, but the learning and care at PNLCA does not. Our After School Program provides a safe, nurturing environment for school-age children once the bell rings, giving working parents confidence and peace of mind.

The program includes:

Homework Support: our educators help children work through assignments with patience and encouragement, breaking down problems for real understanding

Nutritious Snacks: a healthy after-school snack prepared fresh in our onsite kitchen to keep energy levels up

Recreation Time: structured free time that encourages creativity, imagination, and social interaction

Summer Camp

Summer at PNLCA is anything but a break from growth. Our Summer Camp program keeps children engaged, curious, and developing across a full schedule of themed units, enrichment activities, and faith-based learning throughout the summer months.

Each summer follows a structured program of thematic units, including self-development, American history and culture, Biblical study, and STEAM exploration. The Summer Enhancement Program also includes daily music, Spanish, tutoring, dance, chapel, and STEAM activities - making it one of the most comprehensive summer programs available for Dallas families.

Field trips are included throughout the summer, subject to availability.
