At the Play N’ Learn Christian Academy, we’re recruiting an infant teacher for our academy.
If you enjoy working with young children (ages 0 to 18 months) and have gained your High School Diploma or GED, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
As an infant teacher, you’ll provide a safe, nurturing, and Christ-centered environment for the young children in your care. You’ll ensure they receive developmentally appropriate care, within a loving and responsive environment. In doing so, you’ll build secure relationships with them, while supporting their physical, cognitive, language, emotional, and social development.
As a member of our infant teaching team, your responsibilities will include creating weekly lesson plans that promote infant development, engaging them through music, sensory play, language, tummy time, and movement. You must follow safe sleep practices at all times, maintaining sleeping, diapering, and feeding schedules.
You will work collaboratively with coworkers and infants’ families, while also ensuring that all licensing and health regulations are followed. Other related duties include maintaining accurate daily communication with families, and keeping a clean and organized classroom.

We’re seeking a toddler teacher at the Play N’ Learn Christian Academy, who finds working with young children (aged 18 to 36 months) rewarding, and has the required qualifications and experience.
Key Responsibilities:
As a toddler teacher, you’ll establish an engaging classroom environment where children begin to develop independence, and can improve upon their language and social skills. You’ll encourage them to develop their early learning foundations through purposeful play and exploration.
Your responsibilities will include implementing daily lesson plans, encouraging language development, and teaching self-help skills, including potty training, hand washing. and independent eating. You’ll use positive guidance techniques while building strong relationships with children’s families.
You’ll also need to supervise children indoors and outdoors, keep your classroom organized and sanitized, and conduct developmental observations to ensure that the toddlers are progressing through early milestones as expected. Within this role, maintaining licensing compliance will also be an important consideration.

Key Responsibilities:

Within this role, you will ensure a safe, structured, and enriching environment is established before school, after school, and during school holidays and summer camps. You shall support academic success while promoting leadership skills, character development, recreation, and Christian values.

About the Role:
At the Play N’ Learn Christian Academy, we’re looking for a bus driver to join our academy, to safely transport children to and from school, field trips, and approved activities. The chosen candidate must also comply with all state licensing and transportation requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
In addition to providing safe travel to and from our academy for the children in our care, you must also be prepared to support our center with classroom assistance and other facility needs when your transportation responsibilities are complete.
Safety must be of paramount importance at all times, with the chosen candidate verifying attendance before leaving each location on the way to school, conducting pre-trip and post-trip checks, and making sure no child is ever left unattended.
Qualifications and Qualities:
- A valid Texas Driver’s License
- A clean driving record
- The ability to pass background checks and lift 40 pounds
